Thomas T. Kmiecik is assistant treasurer of Forest City Enterprises, Inc.
Kmiecik joined Forest City in 1998 as the assistant treasurer. He is primarily responsible for treasury and cash management. He is also accountable for all investor/media/shareholder relations, public reporting responsibilities, Company news releases, conference calls and Webcasts with investors/analysts, as well as responsible for all institutional investor, rating agency and analyst relations.
Prior to joining Forest City, from 1984 to 1998, Kmiecik worked at First Union Real Estate Investments, where he served as assistant controller, treasurer, vice president-treasurer and senior vice president-treasurer. Before that, he worked four years as a certified public accountant for Arthur Young & Co.
Kmiecik is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trust (NAREIT), Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also very active in United Way, Junior Golf, and the Junior Olympics.
He graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College with a degree in business administration, concentrating in accounting and finance. |
