Tom Kilbane has assisted Northwest clients on environmental issues for over 27 years. He has repeatedly been recognized by his peers and listed in Washington Law & Politics as a "Super Lawyer" in Environmental Law.
Much of Tom’s practice involves dealing with contamination and pollution. He represents clients in negotiating cleanup of federal and state Superfund sites and allocating liability among the parties. A strong advocate for his clients, Tom is equally effective working with other parties and is well-qualified to serve as a mediator of environmental disputes.
Tom represents parties in environmental litigation, arbitration, and mediation, as well as administrative proceedings. He helps clients resolve environmental issues in corporate and real estate transactions, including brownfields transfer and redevelopment. He also has extensive experience in energy project development and industrial facility permitting.
Tom's clients range from major oil companies to small businesses/property owners. But in each case, I like to learn as much as I can about the client’s business, so I can provide strategic legal counsel that meets their business needs. My goal is to craft a good legal resolution that is also a good business decision. |
