Tom Kassos, a native of the Buckeye State (Ohio), has been a Floridian since 1985 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Youngstown State University. Since he started in engineering, he quickly became proficient in the design and development of sophisticated computer software for the electrical engineering profession. With a family background in small business, he soon decided to turn his computer skills to business applications. Tom has held managerial and executive positions with different "Solution Providers," all of which were primarily involved in the sale and installation of turnkey computer systems. More recently, Tom has been an independent consultant specializing in the distribution industry where he would review and revamp internal processes, install and train users on applications software and evaluate personnel needs. Tom spent several years, intermittently, at Bayshore as a Consultant and guided Bayshore through two software conversions. As their relationship continued to grow, it became apparent that Tom's experience would prove to be invaluable to the further growth of Bayshore. As COO, Tom will now concentrate his efforts on assisting Bayshore in becoming a premier provider of information technology to businesses throughout Tampa Bay. |
