Tom Hitchcock is a native of Hildreth, Nebraska. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree-Business Administration from Kearney State College in Nebraska (now known as University of Nebraska-Kearney), with mathematics and economics minors. Prior to joining the RE team, Mr. Hitchcock held various positions with KN Energy, Inc. (now known as Kinder-Morgan, Inc. ), serving in various auditing, budgeting, finance and gas accounting positions. He then was the Chief Accountant for Midlands Energy Corporation and later returned to KN Energy, Inc. Up until 2001, Hitchcock was Vice President-NorthWestern Energy and was in charge of the company’s natural gas procurement and sales to large end-users. Currently, Mr. Hitchcock owns his own business, Golden Plains Ventures Group, LLC, which provides business consulting services relating primarily to value-added agricultural ventures. Hitchcock and his wife, Susie, reside in Huron, SD. They have three children and one grandson. His interests include youth hockey and antique collecting. Hitchcock began at RE in May 2007. |
