Tom Hewitt was elected to the Board in May 2003. An award-wining information technology (IT) industry leader, Mr. Hewitt is founder and CEO of Global Governments, Inc., a firm which focuses on strategic planning and marketing in the international government information technology marketplace. In 1984, Mr. Hewitt founded Federal Sources, Inc., a market research and consulting firm focused on federal IT, which he sold in1998 to Primedia Information, Inc.
Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Hewitt served on Virginia’s first Commission on Information Technology appointed by former Virginia Governor James S. Gilmore, III. He is active in the Information Technology industry and serves on various advisory boards. Additionally, he is a member of the Boards of Directors of Halifax; Sigaba; Object Video; and AAC, Inc. Mr. Hewitt serves on the Compensation Committee of the Board. |
