Hagopian joined the Company in April, 2007 and is responsible for developing and managing Playboy's global online and mobile businesses. He is based out of the company's New York office.
Hagopian, 48, has spent the majority of his career in the media industry. He served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Programming and Advertising for OpenTV, Inc., since 2003. He has also worked for Gemstar - TV Guide International, Inc., where he served as President of TV Guide Online and TV Guide Data Solutions. Prior to that he was Vice President of Interactive Products with Cablevision Systems Corporation where he managed the successful launch of Optimum Online. Hagopian also spent 10 years with ESPN Enterprises in various key positions including co-founder of the ESPN Enterprises licensing group and the initial General Manager of espn.com.
Hagopian graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned his bachelor degree in business administration. He also earned an MBA from Columbia University in New York. He serves as a board member of the Interactive Television Association and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. |
