Mr. Thomas K. Graf joined NorthMarq Capital in May 2007 as Vice President and loan producer in the New York City Regional office. He is currently responsible for expanding the origination of commercial loans in the New York City region. Mr. Graf has over thirty years of experience in commercial lending and the mortgage servicing industry.
Prior to joining NorthMarq, Mr. Graf was affiliated with Amalgamated Bank for twenty years. During his tenure at Amalgamated, Mr. Graf enjoyed much success, joining as Assistant Vice President/Mortgage Officer in 1987, appointed to Vice President in 1991 and then First Vice President of Commercial Real Estate in 1995. During his last six years, Mr. Graf served as Senior Vice President of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Division responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bank's lending and real estate activities including the management of a relationship based mortgage portfolio of approximately $475,000,000. He oversaw ULTRA, LLC, (Advisors to Longview ULTRA I Construction Loan Fund) which was established to make construction loans with pension funds managed by the Bank, utilizing union workers. These loans ranged in size from $10,000,000 to $75,000,000. In addition, Mr. Graf also oversaw a residential mortgage purchase program, through GMAC and Countrywide, of $900,000,000 in mortgages, as well as community based lending to help the Bank meet its obligations under the Community Reinvestment Act.
Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Mr. Graf worked for Lincoln Savings Bank from July 1980-August 1986, Citicorp Real Estate, Inc., from March 1980-June 1980, Central Savings Bank from May 1978-February 1980, and Lawrence A. Epter and Associates, Inc. from April 1975-April 1978.
Mr. Graf is currently the President of the National Realty Club, Inc. He is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York, Inc., Carnegie Hall Real Estate Council, and is a board member of Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York., Inc.
Mr. Graf holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from St. John's University and has attended numerous real estate seminars and related courses at New York University and throughout the country. |
