Tom Gerstenberger is senior vice president of Field Strategy and Operations at Network Appliance. Gerstenberger is responsible for coordinating a cross-functional view of the Field Operations business. As vice president, Gerstenberger is also heavily involved in structuring the business strategy at NetApp.
Before joining NetApp in November 2004, Gerstenberger spent 15 years with 3Com in a variety of executive and senior management positions, most recently as vice president and general manager of the Personal Systems division. During his tenure at 3Com, he worked as vice president of Finance and Business Operations of the Business Communications company; vice president of Finance for the Network Systems business unit; controller for Worldwide Field Operations; vice president of Worldwide Sales Operations; and vice president, executive in residence of the office of the chairman.
Gerstenberger holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley. |
