Tom Fisher is chief information officer at DriveCam Inc. He is responsible for external customer systems information as well as the internal operating systems at DriveCam.
Mr. Fisher has more than 25 years of leadership and IT experience. During his career, he has held the titles of vice president, CIO and CTO as well as other senior management positions at several leading high-tech firms, including QUALCOMM's CDMA Technologies (QCT), eBay, Gateway Computers and IBM.
Mr. Fisher acts as an advisor to several leading venture capital firms, including Clearstone Capital, Foundation Capital, JMI and Odyssey/Sail Venture Partners. He has been a member of Oracle's Database Technology Advisory Board, Google's CIO Advisory Board and other private company advisory boards.
Mr. Fisher holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, (UNCC), where he continues to serve as an advisor to the College of Computing and Informatics. Additionally, he was a founder of UNCC's Five Ventures Program which brings innovative technologies, venture capital and business leaders together for the state of North Carolina. |
