Tom Ferraro, CPA, is a Partner in the Commercial Services Group in the New York Office of Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP ("GGK") specializing in SEC Practice. Tom joins GGK after having served on the Staff of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (Washington, D.C) for two and a half years. He has twenty plus years of accounting experience including owning and operating his accounting and consulting firm Ferraro Consulting and as a Senior Manager and Partner Candidate in an international accounting and consulting firm (New York Area Office). Tom's experience includes expertise in SEC Rules and Regulations, PCAOB Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements, U.S. and International GAAP and private and public companies financial operations. During the past two years at the SEC, Tom has been involved with initial public offerings in excess of $1 billion including one of the highest profile offerings in the last ten years. In addition Tom is well versed in the SEC comment process having drafted or reviewed numerous SEC comment letters and evaluating complex financial transactions. Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Public Accountants.
