Thomas M. Conaway is managing partner, homeland security, Unisys Federal Systems. In this capacity, he spearheads efforts to position Unisys as an end-to-end services provider and plays a lead role in Unisys homeland security strategy. Tom has responsibility for managing the Unisys engagement with the Transportation Security Administration, an unprecedented, multi-year task order to build an advanced information technology infrastructure. The initiative will help to secure the safe transport of passengers and cargo throughout the United States.
Tom joined Unisys from BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting, Inc.), where he was managing director leading a practice focused on key civilian agencies in the U.S. federal government, including the Departments of Justice, State and Energy and the U.S. Congress, the judiciary, the Executive Office of the President, and the Office of Homeland Security. As head of the government sector, he had authority over a practice generating $36 million in revenue annually.
Previously, Tom had been a principal with KPMG LLP and transferred to BearingPoint when it was spun off in an initial public offering. While with KPMG, he served as enterprise resource planning (ERP) coordinator for the federal market, developing and implementing the successful go-to-market strategy for sale and delivery of ERP services. |
