Tom focuses on Usability and Information Architecture for Vialogix. He has designed software based on the needs of the end user for nearly 20 years. Tom has found that the best way to contribute to an interdisciplinary design team is to clearly communicate an objective analysis to support his design recommendations. Combining structured analysis with seasoned communications skills, Tom has been able to lead Interaction Design for seven figure projects, and he has improved the software experiences of millions of Web users.Tom has led Usability Engineering and Information Architecture for The Weather Channel, First Union National Bank, and First Data Corp. He also taught Interaction Design at the University of Georgia and Wright State University. Other clients include IBM, Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, and LEXIS-NEXIS.Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Man-Machine Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. |
