Mr. Cohen has been an investment banker for, and consultant to, a large number of media companies such as Time Life, Time Inc., The New York Times, The National Broadcasting Company (NBC), Martha Stewart Living and Rolling Stone Magazine. In addition, Mr. Cohen has been active in advising Internet entrepreneurs as their ideas evolved from small ventures to mid-sized companies; helping them craft both successful growth strategies; securing their financing and ultimately executing their acquisitions by major industry players. In these various capacities he has been able to work with both established companies and startups. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Cohen was a Special Venture Partner with Flatiron Partners. Prior to that Tom spent four years acting as Chief Executive Officer of the New York based brokerage firm of Herzfeld and Stern. Mr. Cohen received a BA from Williams College and an MBA from Columbia University. |
