Tom Buiocchi is responsible for developing and executing product and marketing strategies to help the company achieve its business goals and desired financial results. He manages all external communications and is responsible for supporting the expanding ecosystem of industry partners in applications, training, and certification that make Brocade the industry's most respected SAN provider.
Buiocchi, who has 20 years of experience in marketing and strategic management for leading technology companies, was Vice President of Marketing at Rhapsody Networks, and joined Brocade when it acquired Rhapsody in November 2002. He previously was Vice President of Marketing at Peakstone Corporation and Vice President of Marketing at Apex, Inc. when the company was named as one of the "Top 5 Hottest Growth Companies" by Business Week magazine for two consecutive years. During 11 years at HP, he worked in executive marketing and strategy positions, including managing international marketing operations in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Buiocchi started his career at IBM in manufacturing test engineering. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College. |
