Tom Blodgett is an Executive Vice President and Group President of ACS’ Business Process Solutions (BPS) line of business and has nearly 20 years of senior management expertise in business process outsourcing (BPO). The BPS group represents $1.3 billion in annual revenue and also includes ACS’ Healthcare Solutions line of business.
Previously, Blodgett led the Administration and Customer Care service delivery unit for ACS, growing this business from $50 million to over $1 billion in annual revenue in less than eight years.
Blodgett is a pioneer in the BPO arena. In 1985, his family founded Unibase, a data entry company acquired by ACS in 1996. The acquisition expanded ACS’ capabilities in the relatively new BPO services market and created an entire service segment dedicated to delivering superior business process solutions.
Also instrumental in developing ACS’ Operational Excellence model, a key company differentiator, Blodgett provides clear leadership in the areas of customer satisfaction and competitive distinction. He was an early proponent of ACS’ global outsourcing strategy, having opened the Company’s first offshore location in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1995.
Since acquiring that office, Blodgett has led the charge for ACS’ global expansion that now supports client operations in more than 100 countries and has given ACS the position of industry leader in the global market.
An integral part of his approach to growth, Blodgett brings leadership to ACS’ acquisition strategy and has successfully acquired and integrated 11 companies into his line of business during his tenure with ACS.
With roots in sales, Blodgett brings a unique perspective to his leadership role. He balances the structure and rigor of an effective operational organization with the aggressive, creative requirements of successful sales and marketing. Blodgett attended Brigham Young University.
