A resident of Dallas Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He was on the President's Honor Roll and Dean's Honor Roll received a Freshman Scholastic Chemistry Award and was a member of Psi Omega fraternity. Tom owns his own dental practice and specializes in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He was nominated for Texas Dentist of the Year and selected by D Magazine as one of the top 5 cosmetic dentists in Dallas. He is a member of the American Dental Association the Texas Dental Association the Foundation Board of American Academy of Dental Practice Administration and was the president of the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration and the Dallas County Dental Society. He also serves on the Board of Directors of HPSC a company that provides financial services for physicians and dentists which gives him the opportunity to learn business principles outside his dental practice. Tom lectures internationally on the field of dentistry and has published several articles in Dental Economics and the Journal of Dental Practice Administration. Tom has had an interest in banking since he served as Chairman of the Banking Committee of Dallas County Dental Society in the early 80's and believes the North Dallas market is a wonderful financial center with promise for expansion and growth opportunities that would benefit from the service philosophy he hopes to contribute to T Bank. In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Janet their children Dianne Mary Beth and Laura as well as golfing hunting and riding motorcycles. |
