BACKGROUND: Tom was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. After he graduated from Lakeland High School in 1990, he attended Florida State University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1994. He received his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1997 where he was a Law Faculty Scholar. He also completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard University School of Law in 2000.EDUCATION: Florida State University, B.S.
