Tom H. Wilson Jr. joined NuTech Solutions in 2004 serving as President and CEO of NuTech Solutions, before becoming the Chairman of the Board in 2006.
Mr. Wilson comes from Osprey, a Division of NIIT (USA), Inc., where he served as President of the enterprise software consulting firm, which was acquired by NIIT, a global IT services organization in 2002. During his six years at Osprey, Mr. Wilson launched a multi-million dollar line of business, assisted in the raising of over $20 million in venture investments from Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and BankAmerica Ventures, led the repositioning of the organization as a provider of packaged services offerings, and was instrumental in the sale of the business to NIIT. Mr. Wilson joined Osprey after 14 years with IBM where he served in a variety of general management, sales, and marketing positions, including leading a $430 million solutions and services organization.
Mr. Wilson holds a B. S. in Finance from Clemson University and an MBA from Duke University. He has served on the board and as Chairman of several community organizations including Junior Achievement, the North Carolina Dance Theatre, and the United Way where he taught sales training for 5 years to loaned executives. Mr. Wilson is also an active participant in a structured angel investment group, Charlotte Angel Partners, which was created to evaluate, finance, and assist early stage companies in the Carolinas. He is a frequent speaker on information technology issues and has presented to many industry conferences, civic groups, corporations, and organizations. |
