Tom Jensen has substantial experience in a broad range of business law matters, with a special emphasis on providing strategic counsel to companies in the energy, tax, consulting and financial services sectors.
Tom regularly represents buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, issuers and investors in private securities offerings, and borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financings. He also has significant project finance experience, and has served as project counsel for power plant development consortia, as well as other energy sector joint ventures and alliances. In addition, Tom routinely counsels clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust filings, public company insider reporting and compliance matters, state "blue sky" law compliance, as well as providing counsel on a variety of legal issues to registered investment advisers and broker-dealers.
Tom has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics, and is a regular presenter at Continuing Legal Education seminars.
Tom is a member of Leonard, Street and Deinard's Pro Bono Committee and was named the firm's Legal Clinic Volunteer of the Year in 2004.
