As Vice-President of Planning and Development, Todd is responsible for all aspects of pre-development including acquisitions, project master-planning, architectural design, zoning entitlement, financial underwriting, and capital structure organization. He has over sixteen years of planning and urban development experience and prior to joining Grubb Properties was Director of Real Estate for Michael Gallis & Associates, where he was responsible for the management of numerous real estate consulting, urban design, and regional planning projects across the United States. Todd was recently recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the city’s top 40 Under 40 young professionals for his business and community service. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte and lectures at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the College of Architecture and at the Belk College of Business MBA program in Real Estate Finance and Development. He also serves as a full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Charlotte Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR). In the past, Todd served on the Charlotte Department of Transportation Advisory Team for Street Development Guidelines, was appointed in 2004 by the Charlotte City Council to the Mecklenburg County Schools Task Force Long Range Strategic Planning Advisory Committee, and was a past Board Member of the Elizabeth Community Association. Todd is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and graduated from the College of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. |
