At TH Lee Putnam Ventures, Mr. Miller helps lead the firm's investment strategy in business process outsourcing, offshore services and marketing services. Miller has managed a wide variety of investments, including some of the firm's leveraged, take-private, and cross-border transactions. Miller actively manages the firm's investments in Sentient Jet, SPI Technologies, Symphony Services, as well as other portfolio companies. Miller also managed the firm's successful investment in Marketmax, a retail application software company, which was sold to SAS in late 2003. Before joining TH Lee Putnam Ventures in 2000, Miller worked for Alpine Capital Group, a New York-based private equity firm principally involved in media, entertainment, communications, and financial services. Portfolio investments included the Daily Racing Form and Roberts Radio. Miller began his career in Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking Group, where he advised on various domestic and international M&A transactions in the banking and insurance sectors. Immediately prior to joining TH Lee Putnam Ventures, Miller worked for Morgan Stanley's Real Estate Fund. Miller received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. |
