As vice president business and legal affairs Todd Huge serves as chief legal counsel to PlanetOut Inc. and advises the company on a wide range of legal business and risk management issues.
He has more than 10 years of experience advising high-tech companies on a broad variety of legal issues. Previously Todd was an associate in the employment and labor practice of the San Francisco office of Paul Hastings Janofsky and Walker LLP. He has also worked as an associate with the Silicon Valley-based law firm of Fenwick & West LLP.
Todd holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California Berkeley. In addition to supporting such causes as Equality California and the ACLU Todd serves on the board for the Dorothy Vorderstrasse Huge Scholarship Fund which is named in honor of his grandmother and awards college scholarships to young women from south-central Nebraska his grandmother's birthplace. Todd was born and raised in Lincoln Neb. and continues to convert his friends into honorary fans of Husker football through his annual Runza parties. An avid sports fan he is also a proud season ticket holder for Stanford basketball (after seven long years on the wait list!). When Todd is not tending to his tropical fish or plotting out his next planted aquarium he is likely indulging his anglophile tendencies by listening to British pop watching BBC America or planning his next trip to London to watch a Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge. |
