Business Litigation
R. Todd Ehlert is a member of the Firm’s Businless Litigaiton Group. His practice is equally divided between the prosecution and defense of complex commercial litigation (including antitrust actions under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, business torts, breach of contract, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability and shareholder derivative suits), the defense of municipal and county governments, insurance bad faith, product liability and personal injury actions for both individuals and businesses. Todd also has substantial experience in the field of arbitration, where he has successfully defeated numerous binding arbitration contracts.
Before commencing his civil practice, Mr. Ehlert was employed as a prosecutor for the City of Wichita, Kansas and as an assistant district attorney for Sedgwick County, Kansas, where he collectively first-chaired over 300 criminal bench and over 30 criminal jury trials. He has since first-chaired numerous civil bench and jury trials to verdict, has substantial experience trying arbitration proceedings, and has successfully argued cases on appeal before Missouri appellate courts.

Mr. Ehlert has been awarded a BV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
