Chairman of the Board of Directors Todd Edebohls was Director of Business Development and Sales of Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) and brings to eToys BabyUniverse My Twinn PoshTots and the other businesses of The Parent Company portfolio more than a decade of eCommerce and new media business development and general management experience including early work for onetime Top 10 online retailer Beyond.com and Internet advertising pioneer PointCast. During his international business-building Amazon tenure of 1999 to 2007 Edebohls created and managed enterprise software customer service and fulfillment services operating agreements in the US and Europe; lead business development in Japan and China; originated key partnerships for the company's entry into the apparel jewelry beauty travel flowers and other market segments; and negotiated marketing patent license web services and a wide range of other agreements including toys- and baby-related strategic alliances. Altogether Edebohls created and lead one-time-only cross-functional groups of more than sixty people across fifteen departments invented with an Amazon colleague two patent-pending internet technology systems and directly negotiated more than $300 million of agreements for Amazon worldwide. He is now also Founder and Managing Partner of consumer-focused Internet start-up Inside Jobs. Mr. Edebohls attended Cornell University Hotel School and the Wharton School. |
