Mr. Fonner is responsible for leading the ongoing assessment of the overall risk profile of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. and works closely with business unit leaders to enhance processes to identify, assess, and manage business unit level risks. Mr. Fonner also has management and oversight responsibility of the investment portfolio of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Mr. Fonner joined the RenaissanceRe team in 2001 as Vice President and Treasurer, was appointed Senior Vice President and Treasurer in January 2006, and was promoted to his current position in August 2006. He has over 15 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience, including his former positions of Vice President of Centre Solutions, and Manager of Strategic Planning for USF&G. Mr. Fonner holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Middlebury College, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago. |
