Todd Phelps practices in the Real Estate department, where he assists clients in acquiring, developing, constructing, financing, leasing and selling of commercial real estate, including office, retail, industrial, assisted-living/nursing homes, religious, mixed-use and multifamily properties. Todd is a Real Property Law Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association, and he has significant experience in the area of consumer finance regulations.
Todd was selected by his peers as a "Rising Star" as noted in Minnesota Law & Politics. He is co-chair of the Leonard, Street and Deinard Legal Clinic Committee, a member of the Pro Bono Committee and received an award for Pro Bono Service to the Indigent.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a judicial clerk for the Honorable James C. Harten of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Prior to law school he served as a captain in the U.S. Army.
