Dr. Mosher joined Microsat Systems in October of 2006 as the Director of Advanced Systems. Dr. Mosher is responsible for expanding MSI’s customer and product base as well as developing new technology products and processes to improve MSI’s offerings to its customers.Dr. Mosher joined MSI after serving as Senior Manager of Advanced Exploration Systems for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where he was a part of the group that was awarded the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle from NASA. Prior to working at Lockheed Martin, Dr. Mosher was an assistant professor at Utah State University (USU) where he was the Director of the Center for Advanced Satellite Manufacturing. While at USU, his research was sponsored by the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Office of Naval Research, the National Reconnaissance Office, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Lockheed Martin, The Aerospace Corporation and the Space Dynamics Laboratory. He also served as the program chair for the annual American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)/USU Conference on Small Satellites. Dr. Mosher earned his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado, has two master’s degrees in aerospace engineering and systems engineering from the University of Colorado and the University of Alabama in Huntsville respectively, and received his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from San Diego State University.
