Todd is a member of the firm’s Energy and Agribusiness group, which provides legal counsel and assistance throughout the country to energy and agribusinesses of all types, including the electric utilities and biodiesel, ethanol, and food-processing plants.Todd focuses his practice on transactional and regulatory law in both the traditional and renewable energy sectors, leads the group’s efforts in the biodiesel industry, and counsels clients on wind and other renewable power projects. He regularly advises electric utilities on a variety of economic and permitting matters before state public-utilities commissions and other state and local permitting authorities.Todd writes the monthly Legal Perspective column for Biodiesel magazine. He is a member of the National Biodiesel Board and the American Wind Energy Association.Before joining Lindquist & Vennum in 2000, Todd served as an associate general counsel at Otter Tail Power Company in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association (Business Law Section). |
