In the eight years prior to joining Huron Todd was an independent consultant providing litigation accounting and business process analysis services. He spent the first seven years of his career at Arthur Andersen LLP as a manager in their telecommunications and utility audit practice group. He gained extensive experience with managing the external financial and compliance audits of large public companies.

His clients have included Ameritech Corporation Centel Corporation Virgin Islands Telephone Company Consolidated Communications Inc. Telephone and Data Systems Inc. Aerial Communications Inc. Universal Access Inc. Illinois PCS and Horizon PCS.
Representative examples of Todd's engagement experience include:
Led a litigation support engagement team for a regional PCS wireless company. Services performed included damage identification and quantification discovery management and analysis and deposition preparation.
Analyzed certain aspects of the cost of service accounting for a national reseller of private line services which resulted in significant annual expense reductions.
Served as the audit manager for the corporate wireless and local exchange entities of a Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC). Engagements included both financial audit work and cost allocation audits in accordance with FCC Order 86-111 for telecommunications companies.
Assisted in the development of firm-wide standards for auditing cost allocation activities in accordance with FCC Order 86-111. These standards were accepted by the FCC and used as an industry-wide guide.
Managed the team responsible for selecting a new billing system for a regional wireless provider. Services provided included system requirement development RFP development software evaluation and billing/finance process redesign.
Managed the redesign of the time reporting process for a mid-sized telecommunications company's implementation of SAP enterprise software. Services performed included as-is process definition to-be process design internal controls design and user acceptance testing.
Analyzed the sales tax billing process for a national reseller of private line services. Services performed included design and implementation of new processes and controls for sales tax calculation billing collection and jurisdictional remittance.
Assisted in a regional wireless provider's acquisition by a national wireless company. The work included managing the merger integration of the acquired entity's revenue assurance operations into those of the purchaser. A detailed finance organization transition model was developed including process flows detailed task descriptions process risks and controls policies process inputs and outputs and key operating metrics.
Assisted in a national reseller of private line services' acquisition of a telecommunications bandwidth pricing software provider. The engagement included managing the integration of all business processes and systems of the acquired entity into the purchaser's organization.
Developed a forecasting and performance measurement tool for the customer service organization of an Independent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC). The tool implemented integrated operating data from multiple systems and linked resulting metrics to overall company objectives.
