Todd Arkenberg is vice president of Employee Experience for United. He is based at the company's operations center in suburban Chicago.
Named to the position in July 2007, Arkenberg is responsible for working with the Operations, Customer Experience, Human Resources and Communications teams and pulling resources from across the company to lead and coordinate numerous company-wide initiatives to improve the employee work environment. The initiatives include employee recognition, leadership development and providing tools and training to enable employees to deliver superior service to United's customers.
Arkenberg joined United in 1986 as a staff accountant. He previously served in a number of leadership roles across the operation. Most recently, he served as managing director of United Express, where he was responsible for overseeing the operation and scheduling of United Express partners.
Prior to joining United, Arkenberg worked for Arthur Andersen and an anti-trust law firm in Chicago.
He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in English literature from Northwestern University. |
