Todd Noteboom is the Chair of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Class Action Practice Group and its Securities, Financial Services and Broker-Dealer Practice Group. A shareholder at the firm and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Todd practices principally in the areas of complex business and class action litigation, with particular emphasis in the areas of securities litigation/arbitration and financial services litigation.
Todd also represents companies and individuals in SEC and other regulatory investigations and proceedings, and has led internal investigations of public companies. He is a frequent speaker on securities, class action and other complex litigation topics.
Todd’s practice is national in scope. In recent years, he has served as lead or co-lead trial counsel in cases venued in California, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia, Delaware, Massachusetts, Illinois, Idaho, Montana, Missouri, Arkansas, North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Todd has considerable experience defending companies in class action litigation throughout the country. He and the firm were recently selected to handle the national class action litigation of one of the largest financial services companies in the country.
Todd also represents a small number of companies as plaintiffs. He is currently representing a large foundation in a 9-figure claim arising from losses in a securities lending program that involved substantial subprime mortgage exposure. Todd and the firm are also representing a national bank that lost more than $100 million in connection with the acquisition of a large portfolio of loans.
Todd has been recognized by many third party publications for his achievements.
