Todd has led CleverSet with strong strategic focus and business judgment gained during more than a decade of diverse experience from a variety of market leading businesses. An entrepreneur at heart, Todd has spent most of his career leading early-stage technology companies in a variety of senior management, operational and investment roles. Todd will be joining ATG as VP, OnDemand Personalization, applying his leadership, market knowledge and technical expertise to help ATG continue to strengthen it's position as the leader in e-commerce personalization. Prior to joining CleverSet, Todd was a partner at a Seattle-based venture capital firm where he managed an investment portfolio and evaluated early-stage technology companies. Todd also led the firm's government relations where he lobbied on Capitol Hill for increased investment funds for early-stage technology companies on both a State and National level. Todd moved to Seattle in 2000 to lead the business development efforts for Apex Learning, a K-12 online learning company that was founded by Microsoft Co-founder Paul Allen. Todd was responsible for expansion of the company's online high school initiatives through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Todd was also the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Jones Knowledge, a leading online learning company founded by cable pioneer Glenn R. Jones. In 1996 Todd was a founding member of a venture capital firm based in Toronto that invested in internet, software and communication companies around the world. This role led to his first CEO appointment at a software company which he guided through to acquisition in only fourteen months. As well, Todd was on the founding team of Triax Capital, a private financial services firm that managed assets of $1.8 billion prior to its acquisition. |
