Tina Syring-Petrocchi brings years of experience in employment counseling and litigation, investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment, and evaluating and drafting employment policies and procedures. She advises and counsels employers on compliance with federal and state law, including wage and hour, disability accommodation and leave issues. She also advises and prepares employers for audits by the Department of Labor and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and negotiates and drafts employment contracts and agreements, including non-competition and non-disclosure agreements. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, she was a partner with Rider Bennett and earlier in her career she clerked for the Honorable Thomas P. Schroeder at the Minnesota District Court.
Tina regularly lectures on employment law subjects and has been named a "Super Lawyer" and "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. She is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, North Dakota State Bar Association, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and DRI.
She served on the Board of Directors for StarBase Minnesota (2004-2005), a non-profit agency, and has been involved Something of Value, a non-profit program that mentors college women since 1999.
