Mr. Roche serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Mergent, Inc. As CFO, he is responsible for the overall financial management and stability of the company. In addition, Mr. Roche is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Mergent’s technology strategies. At Mergent, he was a key individual to the successful purchase and integration of the Financial Information Services division of Moody’s Investor Service. Before joining Mergent, Mr. Roche was Vice President of Administration at the Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. (IBJ), one of the ten largest banks in the world at the time. He established the technology group at its Chicago Branch and focused on introducing new technologies to IBJ globally. Before IBJ, Mr. Roche was a Senior Financial Analyst at The Balcor Company, a real estate syndication firm. He earned his MBA in finance / international business from DePaul University and his BBA in finance at the University of Iowa. |
