Starting with the company in 1991, Mr. Helgeson has successfully advised major corporations and professional firms in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate on a local and national basis. Mr. Helgeson began his career as the Director of Leasing for Cushman Investment & Development Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary, where he coordinated all marketing, leasing and interior construction activity for the company. This included the detailed negotiation of all leasing and construction related documents.
In 2002 and 2003, Mr. Helgeson also worked with CommonWealth Partners, LLC. CommonWealth Partners is a vertically integrated real estate investment, development and management organization with a premier portfolio of institutional quality properties. This includes a substantial portfolio managed on behalf of California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). The Company has established a reputation for excellence by providing superior results to its institutional investment partners. CommonWealth Partners, LLC and Cushman & Wakefield are both partially owned by Rockefeller Group International (RGI).
Mr. Helgeson earned a BS degree in real estate finance from California State University at Long Beach.
