Tim has more than 20 years of professional experience. He has broad experience in corporate finance, restructuring, valuation, and mergers and acquisitions. During his career he has provided his clients with services including leading operational and financial turnarounds and workouts, reviewing business plans, structuring equity and debt securities, evaluating leveraged buyouts and reorganization plans, exploring acquisition and divestiture opportunities, and performing enterprise valuations. Tim has advised companies in numerous industries including automotive, furniture, transportation, healthcare, financial services, steel manufacturing, mining, food, clothing and textiles, construction, promotional products, and tradeshow displays.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Tim facilitated a leveraged buyout and became President and COO of a moderately sized manufacturing company. Throughout his 20 years of experience, Tim has held leadership positions at other consulting firms including AlixPartners and Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin.
Representative examples of Tim's engagement experience include:
Conducted the sales processes for a number of manufacturing and service related companies outside the bankruptcy process.
Conducted the auction processes under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code for a number of manufacturing and service related companies inside the bankruptcy process.
Assisted in the formation and structuring of a joint venture involving a foreign steel manufacturer and a domestic, minority-owned steel supplier.
Provided consulting services in conjunction with the refinancing of a number of manufacturing and service related businesses.
Provided valuation, structuring, and financial advisory services to a number of Fortune 500, middle market, and family owned manufacturing and service related businesses.
Provided financial advisory and solvency related consulting services to most of the major money center banks relative to leveraged lending on over $60B of transactions.
Advisor and acting CFO to an electrical construction company. Monitored and directed the debtor's operations including cash flow and cost cutting initiatives, directed the analysis, closure, and liquidation of regional offices, and was instrumental in its Chapter 11 restructuring and its ultimate sale under Section 363.
