Timothy Daniels is the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools, a state association with more than 150 school and business organizations. Dr. Daniels served as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and Assistant Superintendent of Business Affairs in Upper Darby (PA). In 1995, Dr. Daniels was named the Director of the Office of Educational Initiatives in Pennsylvania. This office helped shape Pennsylvania’s charter school law. and oversaw the opening of the first 67 charter schools in Pennsylvania between 1997 and 2000.
Dr. Daniels received his B.A. from Bucknell University, his M.A. from Harvard University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
