Tim Cooke helps manage the company's work for clients across the federal health community, including the Department of Health and Human Services. Cooke oversees outsourcing of eGovernment solutions, program management services for major information systems, citizen-oriented eGovernment applications, analysis-based detection of fraud and abuse in large health programs, security and privacy of health information systems, and systems integration solutions.
Cooke joined SRA in 1992, leading the company’s economics and management systems group, which performed specialized consulting in resource allocation for a number of federal agency clients. He created and led the development of a defense business systems program to help Department of Defense (DoD) organizations improve the efficiency of personnel management; acquisition and procurement; research, development, and engineering; and environmental management.
Prior to joining SRA, Cooke taught economics at Rice University and American University and was a senior economist at the Center for Naval Analyses. He has won awards for his operations research for the Navy, and he was presented with a Hammer Award by the DoD for his work on acquisition reform. Cooke has also helped to organize and has participated in eGovernment events.
