Mr. Talbert is Lease Corporation of America’s Senior Vice President of Credit and Originations and President of LCA Bank Corporation. His principal responsibilities include development and maintenance of LCA’s credit policies and credit scoring parameters. In addition, LCA’s Collections, Asset Management, Documentation Processing and Customer Service Departments report to him. During his tenure, Mr. Talbert has implemented a number of changes in LCA’s credit policy and procedures to more accurately reflect the risks inherent in LCA’s core business. Under his guidance, LCA is developing an extensive database that allows it to monitor the consistency of the credit decisioning process and react quickly to changes in the economic environment. Mr. Talbert was also instrumental in the reorganization of the documentation processing procedures, which have increased that area’s effectiveness and efficiency. Mr. Talbert also served as a Director and member of the audit committee of Siliconix, a publicly traded manufacturer of integrated power management semi-conductors which was acquired by Vishsay Intertechnology in 2005. Prior to coming to LCA, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Based Lending and Equipment Leasing for Huntington National Bank. Before joining Huntington, Mr. Talbert spent a number of years with Comerica Bank. While at Comerica, he was instrumental in the formation and start-up of Comerica Leasing.
