Tim Smith is executive vice president & chief legal officer, Legal & Business Affairs. Tim joined the company in August 2006.
Prior to joining Arbitron, Tim was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of public software company Manugistics, Inc., for six years. Prior to that, Tim served as vice president, general counsel of Land Rover North America from 1998 to 2000 and senior associate counsel to Dart Group Corporation from 1995 to 1998. Tim started his career at the law firm of Niles, Barton & Wilmer doing litigation and commercial work.
Tim earned a B.S. in administration of justice with a minor in business from Penn State University. He earned his law degree from Rutgers University.
Tim lives in Annapolis, MD, and works out of the Columbia office.
