Timothy P. McCann is vice president and general manager DuPont Electronic Materials. He has responsibility for the electronic materials businesses that enable the integrated circuit fabrication, packaging, circuits and displays industries. These include High Performance Materials, Microcircuit Materials, Printed Circuit Materials, IC Packaging and Interconnects, HD Microsystems, DuPont Air Products NanoMaterials, Electronic Polymers, EKC, and various other initiatives. He joined DuPont in 1980 as a technical representative in the DuPont Permasep® water treatment business.
In 1985, he left DuPont to attend the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a master's degree in business administration in 1986.
In June 1986, he returned to DuPont and joined the Butacite® business to manage several projects and special assignments. He joined DuPont Engineering Polymers in 1988 and held several managerial positions in marketing, production, supply chain and business management, culminating in his role as marketing director for Engineering Polymers in Europe.
Mr. McCann joined DuPont Fluoroproducts as the global business director for Fluoropolymers in November 1999. In June 2000, he added responsibility for the Nafion® business and became global business director, Fluoropolymers and Nafion®. He then re-joined Engineering Polymers as global business director - High Productivity. He became Engineering Polymers' global director - marketing sales and development, and regional director - Engineering Polymers, Americas, in August 2005. He assumed his current position in June 2007. |
