As Executive Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer, International Banking, Tim Hayward is responsible for Finance, Systems, Operations, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Tim joined Scotiabank in 1979, following a five-year career with Touche Ross. During his career at the Bank, Tim has held posts of increasing responsibility in Finance and Audit, where he was Senior Vice-President and Chief Auditor. In 1996, he became Senior Vice-President, Operations and Finance, Mexico Regional Office. Concurrently, he served as Deputy Managing Director at Inverlat, Scotiabank's Mexican affiliate. Following his return to Canada in 1999, Tim undertook the role of Senior Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer, International Banking. His extensive experience will be key in providing continued leadership to International Banking in its commitment to ensuring a customer-focused approach and development of relationship-building activities.
Tim is a Chartered Accountant and is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard. He is married, with three children. |
