College Career:
The short yardage specialist for the Crimson Tide, Castille played in 43 games with 155 carries for 524 yards and 20 touchdowns to go along with 59 receptions for 363 yards finished third on the team with 120 rushing yards on 40 carries with a team-leading five rushing touchdowns as a senior also hauled in 14 receptions for 74 yards as a junior, Castille led the team with seven rushing touchdowns while playing in 11 games and rushing 45 times for 124 yards with 10 receptions for 56 yards was a do-it-all player for the Tide as a sophomore and closed his second season with 62 carries for 237 yards and six touchdowns while also totaling 14 receptions for 104 yards but it was his blocking ability and short yardage scoring threat that were especially important as a freshman in 2003, became just the eighth true freshman to start in a season opener since freshmen became eligible in 1973 saw action in 12 of 13 games and had starts in 10 games was the Tide's fourth leading rusher (33 yards and two TDs) and fifth leading receiver (129 yards).

Full name Timothy Nehemiah Castille was No. 2 on The Birmingham News' Super Seniors list at Briarwood (AL) High School as an eighth-grader playing wide receiver, caught 65 passes for 1,194 yards and 11 touchdowns as Briarwood went undefeated and won the state title as a junior, he had 913 yards and 22 touchdowns on 130 carries and also caught 55 passes for 825 yards and 12 touchdowns while playing with a strained knee most of the season in his senior season had 875 yards on 158 carries and nine touchdowns his brother, Simeon, is a senior defensive back for Alabama and his father, Jeremiah, was an All-America defensive back for the Tide. |
