Tim Ewald is a shareholder in the Employment and Labor practice group. He has represented employers in a variety of forums including federal and state courts, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Human Rights Commissions. Tim has significant trial experience in matters concerning discrimination, whistleblowing, wages and commissions, restrictive covenants, and other employment-related claims. Tim also has extensive experience with labor contract negotiations, strike litigation, unfair labor practice proceedings and grievance arbitrations.
In addition, Tim provides in-house educational seminars for employers and has participated in numerous regional seminars. Though he concentrates his practice in the labor and employment areas, Tim has commercial litigation experience and has also represented indigent clients on a pro bono basis in political asylum and civil liberties proceedings. He has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer®" and a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.
