Timothy J. Caverly is an executive vice president and head of State Street's investment services business in Continental Europe. This includes State Street's operations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy Luxembourg, Netherlands and Switzerland and more than 2000 employees as of June 2006. In addition, Mr. Caverly is responsible for State Street's offshore fund administration operations in Ireland and Jersey. Mr. Caverly is also a member of State Street's European Executive Board (EEB).
Mr. Caverly joined State Street's commercial banking area in 1983 and has held positions in commercial banking and mutual fund services over the years. Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Caverly was employed by Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company as a credit/country risk analyst and a European correspondent banking officer.
While in Luxembourg, Mr. Caverly has served as a director and member of the Executive Committee of the Luxembourg Bankers Association (ABBL) and president of the American Bankers Club of Luxembourg. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg . In addition he is a member of the Board of State Street Bank Luxembourg, State Street Banque France, State Street Ireland, State Street Jersey, Street Street Bank Europe and IFDS Luxembourg.
Mr. Caverly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Masters of International Management from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management.
