Tim Laney, 47, joined Regions in August 2007 after serving as the Global Large Corporate Treasury Executive at Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is head of Business Services, leading all lines of business that serve business and commercial customers. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Council. Laney joined Regions with an extensive background in leading corporate strategy initiatives, lines of business and geographies. His career began at Bank of America when he joined the Relationship Management Development Program in 1983. For the next 24 years, he served Bank of America in progressive management roles in treasury, commercial banking, private banking, corporate marketing and change management. In 1995, Laney became the Business Corporate Marketing executive for the corporation. He continued serving the corporation in leadership roles, and in 2001, was named Florida State President and Eastern U.S. Commercial Banking executive. In his most recent role as Global Large Corporate Treasury Executive, he managed offices in 20 countries and served corporate and financial institutions in 150 countries.
Laney holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He has been actively involved in several community outreach programs in Charlotte, North Carolina. |
