Timothy G. Doss co-founded AVS in 1997 and has been actively involved in property tax management and consulting for the over twenty-five years. His experience includes working as a managing partner in the tax practice at a Big Six accounting firm; as a tax manager at a Fortune 100 company and a Big Eight accounting firm and as a staff appraiser for a California County Assessor. Mr. Doss has special experience in complex and unusual tax situations, including possessory interest valuation cases. His additional interests include property tax management enhancement, administration and dispute resolution. Mr. Doss is an active member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the California Assessors' Association, the Institute for Real Estate Management and a past member of the Mayor's Fiscal Advisory Committee in San Francisco. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He completed postgraduate studies in strategic management at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. |
