Timothy Scofield joined Ingersoll Rand in 1977 after three and a half years with Price Waterhouse. He has held financial management positions with the Portable Compressor Division and has been controller of the Small Compressor Division, Schlage Lock Company and the Architectural Hardware Group.
In 1996, he became assistant corporate controller, responsible for Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Government Contracts and the management of the Financial Management Development Program (FMDP).
Tim was made director, Audit Services in 1998 with responsibility for the company’s internal audit process and continuing his responsibility for the FMDP. In June 1999, he became a vice president of the corporation.
He is responsible for directing the audit services group in providing a wide range of business and financial consulting services to the company’s worldwide operations. He also directs the development of program members in the FMDP, providing challenging, dynamic early career development opportunities for this group of potential future financial and business leaders.
Tim is a 1973 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant. |
