Tim Black brings over 15 years of experience advising a wide range of companies on strategic, financial and transactional matters. He is a co-founder of Cary Street Partners and serves as a Director in the Investment Banking Group. From 1992 to 1996, Tim worked in the Audit Group of Arthur Andersen LLP, serving a variety of middle market industrial companies in the Southeast. From 1998-2002, Tim worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Wachovia Securities, formerly First Union Securities. In this capacity, he advised technology companies on financing and liquidity options during the technology bubble and subsequent burst. He also worked in the Real Estate Group of Prudential Securities. Tim has substantial experience with merger and acquisition transactions, private capital financings and advising private and public companies on strategic alternatives. Tim received an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Richmond. He lives in Richmond with his wife and three children. |
