Description of Practice:
Timothy B. McGinity is located in the firm's Los Angeles office where he practices in the Litigation Department. Mr. McGinity deals with a wide range of business and real estate matters, including employment, securities, contract and landlord-tenant disputes.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. McGinity was a member of the United States Navy. During his naval career, Mr. McGinity was deployed to Somalia for Operation Restore Hope. He also received two meritorious advancements, a Letter of Commendation, a Letter of Appreciation, the Navy League Award, the National Defense Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Sea Service Ribbon.
Educational History:
Mr. McGinity received his Bachelor of Arts in History from San Diego State University in 1992. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego in 2000, where he was a member of the San Diego Law Review from 1998-2000. In addition, Mr. McGinity received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of Secured Transactions. In the Summer of 1998, Mr. McGinity externed for Justice Ming W. Chin at the California Supreme Court. |
